An annual periodisation programme has been developed to demonstrate an overview of the season. Training intensities and volume have been devised in accordance with peaking for major competitions. The physical, technical, tactical and mental goals have been outlined for each mesocycle. This allows the sessions to remain focused with specific aims to be covered. The dates for screening, monitoring, evaluating and reporting are also shown.
